Stride Scholar privacy notice

Information the service handles

• Account identity supplied through Stride Scholar sign-in, including provider user ID, name, and verified email address.
• The run clip you choose to upload, the evidence frames extracted from it, and the pose coordinate series calculated in your browser.
• The context you enter for that clip: training goal, pace band and optional free-text pace note, surface, camera position, how fresh you felt, and an optional shoe description.
• The measurements computed from the clip, the resulting coaching report, its saved record, and report-delivery status.
• Credit purchases, pack, amount, Stripe Checkout Session reference, fulfillment status, and credit ledger. Stride Scholar does not receive or store full payment-card numbers.
• For tagged campaign visits only, a random session identifier, allowlisted UTM source, medium, campaign and content values, landing path, event name, related report identifier, and timestamp. Stride Scholar does not use fingerprinting or a third-party advertising pixel.

Where the analysis happens

Pose detection runs in your browser. The resulting coordinate series and the selected evidence frames are sent to the server, which computes every measurement in your report. Numbers are never calculated on your device and accepted as-is, because a measurement that a browser could edit would not be a measurement. A language model is used only for wording, for choosing which single observation to prioritize, and for the practice suggestion; it may refer to a measurement, and it is prevented from stating a number the server did not compute.

How information is used

We use this information to authenticate accounts, screen and measure your clip, generate and save reports, fulfill purchases, prevent duplicate fulfillment, support customers, protect the service, and measure whether a tagged campaign reaches product milestones. The browser can record landing visits, analyzer opens, upload starts, sample-report views, pricing views, account starts, and checkout starts. Analysis start is recorded by the server only after a credit is accepted, and paid analysis completion only after a purchased credit is consumed and the report is saved. These events do not include your video, frames, file name, report text, email, or payment details.

Video retention and deletion

Keeping the source video is your choice, made in the capture flow before the clip is uploaded. If you decline, the video is used to produce your report and is not written to durable storage; the evidence frames and the measurements remain, because they are the report. If you accept, the video is stored with your run so you can replay it against a later clip, and you can remove it at any time.

Every saved run can be deleted from your account. Deleting a run removes its database record and every stored object belonging to it, including the source video and all evidence frames. Deletion is immediate and is not reversible, so a deleted run cannot be restored or re-analyzed without uploading the clip again. Purchase and credit records survive deletion of a run, because they are financial records rather than training data.

Access to your runs, videos, and frames requires your authenticated account. Ownership is checked in the database before any stored object is read, and a request for a run belonging to another account is answered as though the run does not exist.

Other people in your video

Before uploading you confirm that you are permitted to film where you filmed, and that anyone else visible has consented. Please film in a way that avoids capturing bystanders. If a clip you uploaded contains someone who did not consent, delete that run and the stored video goes with it.

Processing and service providers

• OpenAI verifies your identity through Sign in with ChatGPT. Stride Scholar receives your site-specific account ID, email address, and optional display name, but not your ChatGPT conversations.
• OpenAI receives the selected evidence frames, your session context, and the measurements computed by the server, for safety screening and report wording.
• Cloudflare hosts the application, stores account, run, and report records, and stores saved video and frame evidence.
• Stripe hosts payment checkout and sends signed payment-status events used to add credits.
• AgentMail may send a report-ready message when a project-specific mail key is enabled. Your saved runs remain the durable location for a report when email is unavailable.
• jsDelivr and Google-hosted MediaPipe resources deliver versioned browser code and the pose model. Pose calculation happens in your browser; frames leave your device only when you request an analysis.

Storage, retention, and choices

Two things are kept in your browser and nowhere else. Campaign attribution sits in the current tab's session storage and is sent only for a tagged visit; it is gone when you close the tab. Your choice about whether to keep or discard the source video is remembered in local storage on this device, so the capture wizard can offer the same answer next time. Neither is read by anyone but you, and clearing your browser storage removes both. Account, report, media, purchase, and campaign-event records are retained while needed to provide the service, preserve purchase and credit history, meet legal or security obligations, or resolve disputes. You can request access, correction, or deletion through the operator's support page. Some purchase, fraud-prevention, or legal records may be retained when required.

Security and children

Payment fulfillment requires a valid, recent Stripe webhook signature and is designed to be idempotent. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Stride Scholar is not directed to children under 13.
